The stator coil of a magneto is a fixed part in a motorcycle generator, usually

made of copper wire wound and installed inside the generator, opposite the

rotor (usually containing permanent magnets).
Function: When the engine is started, the rotor is driven to rotate at high

speed by the crankcase gear, and the magnetic field generated by the

permanent magnet on it will cut the magnetic field lines in the stator coil,

thereby inducing alternating current in the stator coil. These currents are

then used for ignition systems, lighting systems, and charging batteries.

The magnetic motor generator used in TVS HLX125 motorcycles is usually

a permanent magnet rotor AC generator. Its working principle is as follows:

The rotor is composed of many permanent magnet blocks located in the

circular space of the stator coil.
When the engine starts, the crankcase gear drives the rotor magnet to

move at high speed, generating a rotating magnetic field.
This rotating magnetic field cuts through the magnetic field lines in the

stator coil, inducing alternating current on the stator coil according to the

law of electromagnetic induction.

Replacement steps
Disassemble external components:
Remove the external covers such as seat cushions and guards from the

motorcycle to expose the position of the magnetic motor.
If necessary, drain the oil and tilt the motorcycle to one side for better

access to the magnetic motor.
Dismantling the magnetic motor cover:
Use specialized tools or wrenches to remove the fixing screws of the

magnetic motor.
Gently remove the magnetic motor cover, taking care not to damage

surrounding components.
Check and dismantle the old coil:
Check whether the old coil has obvious damage or wear.
Carefully remove the old coil from the magnetic motor using specialized

tools or manual methods. Be careful not to damage other parts of the

magnetic motor.
Cleaning and preparation:
Clean the inside of the magnetic motor to ensure there are no impurities

such as dust, oil stains, etc.
Prepare new stator coils and ensure that their model and specifications

are consistent with the old coils.
Install new coil:
Carefully install the new coil into the corresponding position of the

magnetic motor.
Ensure that the coil is tightly attached to the other parts of the magnetic

motor, without looseness or gaps.
Fixed and tested:
Use specialized tools or wrenches to tighten the fixing screws of the

magnetic motor, ensuring that the new coil is securely fixed.
Reinstall the magnetic motor cover and other external components.
Connect the power supply of the motorcycle and test whether the

magnetic motor is working properly. Check if the ignition system,

lighting system, etc. have been restored to normal.
