Reflux: The oil filtered by the filter element will flow back into the

engine through the bottom channel of the oil cup and continue to

sufficient lubrication.
The working principle of a motorcycle oil cup mainly includes two

processes:
Filtering process: When the oil pump delivers oil to the oil cup, the

oil will pass through the micropores and felt of the filter element.

During this process, impurities in the engine oil will be trapped by

the filter element, while clean engine oil continues to flow towards

the engine.
Reflux process: The filtered oil returns to the engine through the

bottom passage of the oil cup and participates in the engine's

lubrication cycle.
The importance of motorcycle oil cups is self-evident. If a large

amount of impurities are mixed into the engine oil without filtration,

these impurities will cause serious wear and corrosion to the

internal components of the engine, thereby affecting the normal

operation and service life of the engine. Therefore, regularly

changing the engine oil and the filter element in the oil cup is an

indispensable part of motorcycle maintenance.
Replacement cycle: The filter element in the oil cup needs to be

replaced regularly, and the specific replacement cycle depends

on the quality of the oil, the working condition of the engine, and

the mileage of the motorcycle. Generally speaking, it is

recommended to replace according to the motorcycle

manufacturer's recommendations.
Replacement steps: When replacing the oil cup filter element,

it is usually necessary to remove the threaded cover on the oil

cup, remove the old filter element and install the new filter

element, and finally tighten the threaded cover. This process is

relatively simple, but it requires attention to keeping it clean

and following the correct operating steps.
